Spring is the time to cleanse the body and mind of what no longer serves us and to nourish our liver and gallbladder with much needed replenishing after so much hibernation from the winter months. In Chinese Medicine, it is believed that the liver and the gallbladder are essential to our overall well being and as such ensure that the flow of energy is occurring harmoniously. During the spring months, these organs need extra cleansing as we shift from the heaviness of winter to the energy of spring and the lightness that this season offers us. Yin Yoga stimulates the energetic pathways known as “Meridians” and brings balance back in those organs.
Join Kymberli Roberts in this 2 hour Yinward Journey into the body, beyond the physical sensations and into the more subtle energetic body where healing truly happens. Please dress warmly and in layers as the body can shift into cooler sensations as we practice. Bring water and a journal if you desire. A handout of specific Yin Yoga poses will be provided.

32 Hour Yin Yoga Training

 This training will support you in becoming a more intuitive, compassionate, intelligent Yin Yoga teacher. The intention is to inspire you through our expertise and guide you through some practices, tools, and techniques that will infuse your personal practice + classes with depth and meaning.

Join myself and Lea Sutherland, RYT and RMT on a Yin journey like no other. Our combined teachings of over 15 years will give teachers the insight and passion to teach Yin Yoga in all aspects of how this practice should be taught. 

Over the course of the program you will learn:

*Learn to offer quality touch providing safe and effective adjustment and assist to improve alignment, body awareness and comfort. Practice massage techniques including Swedish massage, myofacial release, deep tissue release and Thai yoga massage to enhance relaxation and decrease tension

*Learn modifications suitable for all body types and circumstances including how to work with physical injuries or trauma. Understand how to incorporate props efficiently

*Advanced anatomy including skeletal variations, joint health ,the fascial system and the physiological effects of our yin practice on the nervous system

*Learn the history of Meridians and its theory 

*Understand the energetic flow of meridians throughout the body during a yin yoga practice and how yin yoga poses can be a tool to stimulate and re-align the organs and systems of the body

*Understand how to sequence yin yoga classes from the perspective of stimulating and creating harmony in the meridian system 

* Various meditations for all levels and how to lead them in a group setting

*Sequencing yin yoga classes therapeutically, for seasons, elements, and moon cycles

*Extended yin + meditation classes for experiential and embodied wisdom

**Two books are required for this training (approx. $30 total) and it is exclusively for 200hr certified yoga teachers. You do not have to be teaching to enrol. Space is limited to ensure quality instruction.

Spring Renewal Yin + Yang + Nidra



Just as nature enters a cycle of renewal, growth and expansion, so does the energy within us. Join myself and Alex Ure for a cleansing, renewing and nourishing 2-hour Yang, Yin and Yoga Nidra masterclass.

Come out of hibernation with a Yang and Yin practice focused on cleansing our liver and gallbladder meridian lines targeted through our hips and lower back. Finish this practice with a guided yoga nidra session to set a new intention for Spring, and to cleanse our minds of old thought patterns. Expect plenty of hands on adjustments from your teachers and leave feeling renewed in body, mind and soul!

Open to all levels.  Bring an eye pillow if you have one and a small thin pillow for under your head.

Yin Yoga For Neck and Shoulder Happiness

In our western culture, the neck and shoulders are often sources of tension, whether its due to physical or emotional imbalance. In this 2 hour Yin Yoga masterclass, we will focus on specific yin poses to release and rejuvenate your neck, shoulders, chest and upper back. This class will leave you feeling spacious, open and relaxed in your upper body, creating balance both physically and emotionally.
Suitable for all levels of practitioners or anyone who carries chronic upper body tension. Please dress in layers, bring water, yoga mat and your tense neck and shoulders. Limited space so that lots of hands on healing can be offered to each student.
